PERU FLOOD UPDATE – April 21, 2017:

I just returned from Peru where I spent time with the Peruvian pastors and churches that we work with in Peru.  We all worked together to bring food, water, clothing, school supplies and more to the needy families that were victims of the floods and mudslides.  While I was there we focused on two areas that were hard hit and we were able to drive to.

The pictures below will tell the story. We want to assure you that we gave all that we gave in the name of the Lord.  We also preached the gospel of Jesus Christ, the gospel of hope to those we gave relief items too.  We do believe that Jesus Christ gives a deep hope that goes beyond what some bags of food can supply.

We have been sending donations to a Church of God pastor in Piura. Pastor Panta is ministering in some of the hardest hit communities to bring practical and spiritual help. Friends we are doing all we can to help the people in need and we are so grateful for your help.  Without your prayers and donations we would not be able to do what we are doing to help the flood and mudslide victims.

God bless you,  Brian Mark Weller

Hello Friends,

Many of you have heard of the disastrous floods and mudslides occurring in many areas of Peru, reaching all the way to Lima. Almost 100 have died, many have lost everything and some are safe but without food and water.

Message Ministries is launching relief efforts through trusted pastor partners in Peru. These pastors have begun to collect relief items through their own churches: clothes, food, water, blankets and more to give to those in need. This is definitely the most efficient way for you to get involved.

If you and I were in their position, we would be praying for someone to come to our aid. Let’s be an answer to their prayers! Even Peru’s impoverished Christians have given from their poverty to relieve their suffering nation. How much more can we give in the wealthy USA? We all can give something to help — even if only $10 or $20. Others can do more and I hope those will step forward too!

100% of donations made to the Peru Emergency Relief Fund will go to help the flood victims in the name of the Lord Jesus. Thank you ahead of time for giving to help those in need in Peru. We will be faithful stewards of what you give!

I (Brian Mark Weller) will visit Peru soon for an on-site update of the events. Please pray for wisdom and provision as we reach out to people in need in the name of Jesus.

In His service, Brian Weller
